Our place is B 15 in the Technocraft Industrial Estate. You have to turn into the lane where the Andhra Bank is in Balanagar to find us. It’s a busy little corner of Hyderabad. My grandfather started this business under the family name, and we’ve kept it going through the years. It’s a typical family-run setup where everyone knows everyone. The shop floor is where most of the life happens. We have various machines for different types of metalwork, and the smell of cutting oil is pretty much permanent in the air here. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually find us because they’ve worked with us before or heard about us from a neighbor in the estate. We spend a lot of time just measuring things and double-checking the fits. Sometimes the rain makes the lane outside a bit muddy, but we still manage to get the deliveries out. We have a small desk for accounts near the door, and that’s about as formal as it gets. It’s honest work, and we take it one day at a time. The guys on the machines are skilled and have been doing this for a long time. We usually start the day with a quick talk about what needs to be finished by evening. It’s a simple routine that has worked for us for decades.
