N.V.Subba Rao

We've been at Plot No.75 and 76 in the Apparel Export Park for a while now. It’s a busy spot in Gundlapochampally, right near Kompally. Most days it is just us getting the work done and making sure things move along like they should. The park itself is quite large and there are always trucks coming and going. Sometimes the heat gets a bit much in the afternoon but we keep the fans going and stay on track. N.V.Subba Rao started this without a lot of fuss. We just focus on the day-to-day stuff here. It’s not fancy or anything. You can find us easily if you know the area. The building is big enough for what we need. We spend a lot of time checking things and making sure everything is handled right. Sometimes the tea man comes around and that's a good break. We know most of the people working in the other plots too. It's a community of workers really. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing things down like this, usually we are on our feet. The space we have is plenty for the equipment and the materials we keep. If you come by, you’ll see we are just regular people working. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. Just us. We stay until the work is finished for the day. That is how it has always been here.
