Brilliant Grammar High School

Narayanguda is one of those parts of Hyderabad that never really goes quiet. Our school, Brilliant Grammar High School, is tucked into this busy neighborhood where the streets are narrow and there’s always a scooter zooming by. The building has been here for a while, and it has that old-school feel with high ceilings and heavy wooden doors in some places. Every morning, the sound of students arriving fills the air, echoing off the walls of the surrounding houses. We don't have a huge campus, so we make the most of every corner we’ve got. The staff room is usually a mess of textbooks and half-corrected notebooks. We spend our lunch breaks talking about the local news or the traffic on the main road. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoons, making the classrooms a bit warm, but we just keep the windows open. It’s a very local atmosphere here; many of the families have lived in Narayanguda for generations. We don't go in for anything too modern or flashy. It’s just about getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids are where they are supposed to be. At the end of the day, when the gates close and the noise dies down, we just tidy up the desks and get ready to do it all over again tomorrow. It’s a steady, predictable life here in the 500029 area.
