Bhashyam Public School Habsiguda

Street No 8 in Habsiguda is a busy little stretch of road. We are located right there, and every morning it’s a bit of a scramble with the traffic and people trying to get to work. The school itself isn’t huge, but we make use of every bit of space we have. The rooms are a bit tight, and when the kids are all inside, it can get quite loud. We don’t have much of a front yard, so the gate opens right out onto the street. You have to be careful when you step out. Inside, the walls are covered with old charts and some drawings that have been there for years. The teachers are mostly local people who have been with us for a while. We know the shopkeepers on the corner and the people who live in the apartments next door. It’s a very urban kind of feel, with the city noise always right outside the window. We spend a lot of time managing the schedule and making sure everyone is where they need to be. Sometimes the water pump acts up and we have to call the plumber from down the street to come and take a look. It’s just those little daily things that keep us busy. We don’t have a big fancy campus, but we have been here long enough that everyone in Habsiguda knows where Street No 8 is.
