Bhashyam High School

You can’t miss the sound of the kids as soon as you get close. From early in the morning, the street is full of bicycles, rickshaws, and parents dropping off their children. The building itself is an older one with several floors. The stairs are always being used by someone. In the classrooms, you can hear teachers talking and the constant scrape of chairs on the floor. Hyderabad is famous for its heat, so the ceiling fans are always spinning as fast as they can. We have a small playground, though it is mostly just a yard for the kids to run around in. During the lunch break, it gets incredibly loud and lively. The office where we sit is near the front entrance. We handle the admissions, the paperwork, and the fees. Parents come in with all kinds of questions every day. Sometimes the school bell rings and everyone jumps a little. Rahamath Nagar is a crowded place with shops all around us.
