We've been here at Shop No 8-2-613/199 for quite some time now. Being in Banjara Hills, things are always moving fast outside, but inside it’s mostly just us dealing with stacks of cloth. People stop by when they need a specific type of cotton or maybe something for a wedding suit. It’s not a huge place, just a regular shop where we keep things organized by color and material as much as we can. My father started things off and now we just keep it going day by day. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass counters. We don't really do big ads or anything. Most folks who come here live nearby or heard about us from their neighbors. It gets busy in the afternoons when the sun isn't so sharp. We have different bundles of fabric tucked into every corner. It can get a bit cramped if more than three people are inside at once, but we manage. If someone asks for a specific shade of blue, we usually know exactly which pile it’s buried under. Sometimes we run out of the popular stuff and have to wait for the next delivery to arrive. That’s just how it goes. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting the right piece of cloth into the customer's hands without too much fuss. It’s a steady life here in Hyderabad.
