Balajee Palace Hotel

If you know M G Road in Secunderabad, you probably know the Ranigunj Bus Stop. Our hotel, Balajee Palace, is right there. It is a very busy part of the city, so there is always noise from the buses and the people walking by. We have been here for a good number of years now. Most of the time, we are just busy checking people in or out and making sure the rooms are ready for the next person. The building isn't brand new, so we spend a fair amount of time painting walls or fixing the plumbing. It’s just the way it goes with older buildings in this area. We get a lot of people who are just traveling for work and need a place to stay for a night or two because the bus stop is so close. It’s a practical place, nothing too fancy. I usually spend my mornings at the front desk talking to the regulars or sorting out the laundry. The traffic on M G Road can be a nightmare during rush hour, but we are used to it by now. We don't really do much advertising; people just find us because of where we are located. It’s a simple operation with a small staff. We just try to keep things clean and functional for whoever walks through the door. It’s a lot of work, but it keeps us on our feet and busy every single day.
