Baba Vidyanikethan High School

We are back here in Narsingi, just tucked behind the Syndicate Bank. Most people find us that way when they are coming through the main part of town. It’s a busy area but things quiet down a bit once you get off the main road and come towards our building. We’ve been here for quite some time now, watching the neighborhood grow around us. The school is basically where we spend most of our daylight hours, making sure the kids have a place to sit and learn their lessons. It isn’t fancy, but it works for what we need to do. Every morning, you see the students walking down the lanes, dodging the puddles if it rained the night before. Sometimes the traffic near the bank gets a bit much, especially during the lunch hour, but we manage just fine. We have classrooms that get plenty of light and a small area for the children to run around during their breaks. It feels more like a big family than a big institution because we know most of the parents by name. We just try to keep things moving along, teaching what needs to be taught and making sure the building stays in decent shape. If you ever find yourself near Narsingi, you’ll likely see our gate. It’s just how things are done here, plain and simple, without too much fuss or unnecessary noise. We’re just a local school doing our part in Hyderabad.
