Baba Saheb Utangle English School

Baba Saheb Utangle English School is located up in Diamond Hills. If you know the Anjali Gardens area in Manikonda, you know it’s a bit of a quieter part of Hyderabad. We’ve been here for a bit, just running the school and making sure things are okay for the students. The 500089 area is changing fast with lots of new buildings, but we stay pretty much the same. It’s an English school, so we keep the kids busy with their books and talking. The hill makes for a bit of a climb in the mornings, but the air feels a little better up here. We don’t go for anything too flashy or modern. The walls might need a new coat of paint every now and then, but the classrooms are filled with enough desks and chalkboards. It gets pretty loud when the bell rings, which is normal for any school. We see the same faces every morning at the gate. Some of our teachers have lived nearby for a long time. It’s more of a community thing than anything else. We don’t spend much time on fancy brochures. Mostly, parents just come by and talk to us. We’re just a regular place in Manikonda trying to help kids learn their ABCs and numbers. Sometimes the power goes out, or it rains too hard, but we manage to keep the classes going. You can see the gardens from the top windows, which is nice.
