About Baba Murli Dhar Public School – Education in Hyderabad
Located at Plot No 74/B in Manikonda, our school is a familiar part of the local community. It’s a public school that serves the families living in and around this part of Hyderabad. The building is a simple one, sitting on its plot with a small area in front for people to park their cycles or scooters. When you walk inside, you’ll see the classrooms are set up with basic furniture and boards. We don’t have air conditioning or anything like that, just ceiling fans that hum all day long. The walls have been painted a few times, but you can still see where the furniture has bumped against them over the years. We have a small desk at the front for visitors, though it’s mostly used for holding stacks of circulars and notices. The daily routine is very predictable. We start on time, have our breaks, and finish up in the mid-afternoon. It’s a very human place, where we deal with leaky taps or a broken chair just like any other household would. The staff are mostly from nearby areas, so there’s a real sense of being part of the neighborhood. We don’t have any grand slogans. We just open the doors every morning and do our best to teach the kids what they need to know. It’s honest work in a plain building on a quiet plot.
