Our place is at Plot Number 345 in Friends Colony, which is part of the Puppalaguda area here in Hyderabad. Being a senior secondary school, we deal with the older students who are mostly worried about their exams and future plans. The building itself is a solid structure with several levels. You can see the stairs are worn down a bit from years of students running up and down them. We keep the classrooms simple—just rows of desks, a blackboard, and some windows for light. The sound of the bell is quite sharp, echoing through the halls every forty-five minutes. The colony is usually quiet, but the school adds a lot of noise during the breaks. We have a small office near the entrance where all the paperwork gets handled, and it’s usually piled high with files. Teachers spend their free periods checking homework or just catching their breath. There isn’t a lot of extra space, so every corner of the plot is used for something. The street outside gets cramped during pick-up time, which is just part of the daily routine. We don’t use any special methods or anything, we just stick to the books and try to keep things moving along. It’s a practical environment for learning without any of the extra frills you see in newer places. Most of us have been working here for years and we know every corner of the property.
