If you’re looking for B V J High School, you’ll find us over at Plot No 258B in Sri Ram Nagar Colony. It’s a quiet pocket of Kondapur, away from some of the heavier Hyderabad traffic. We’ve been operating out of this building for years, and it’s become a bit of a landmark for the people living in the colony. Most of the kids walk here from the nearby houses, so the mornings are always full of life with students chatting on their way in. The school itself isn’t anything too flashy. It’s just a solid building with enough room for everyone. We have teachers who have been with us since the beginning, and they know almost every family in the area by name. Sometimes the gate needs a bit of oil, and the paint gets faded by the sun, but we try to keep it looking decent. We have a small playground area where things get pretty loud during break time. Hyderabad weather can be tough, so we make sure there’s plenty of shade under the trees we’ve got. Inside, the walls are covered with posters and student drawings from over the terms. It’s a simple setup, really. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids are where they need to be. It’s a local school for local people, and that’s how we like it.
