B. K. Public School

B. K. Public School is located at Door No 531, specifically the Mig-2 section on Road No 1 in Kphb Colony. We are right by Khaman Road, which is a busy part of the 500085 zip code in Hyderabad. It’s a very central location, so it’s easy for everyone to find us. The school is housed in a building that’s been part of this street for years. We have kids coming in from all the nearby blocks, so the gate is always a busy spot in the mornings and afternoons. It isn't a huge campus, but we use every bit of space we have. The rooms are filled with desks that have been used by many different groups of kids over time. We have a small staff of teachers who really care about the local families. Often, you’ll find us sitting in the office during the break, drinking tea and talking about the day's plans. There isn't anything overly formal about the way we run things here. We just try to make sure the kids are safe and that they’re getting their lessons done. The fans in the classrooms hum all day long to keep the Hyderabad heat away. Sometimes the traffic on Khaman Road is a bit loud, but the kids are used to it by now. It’s just a simple, local school that serves the families living in the Mig-2 area.
