B K Public School

B K Public School is located on the first floor of Diamond House, right in the Panjagutta area. Being on Flat No-101 means we share the building with other offices and businesses, so it’s a bit of a mix. You walk up the stairs and you’re right in the middle of our school day. It’s not a huge place, but we’ve managed to fit the classrooms in quite well. Because we’re in a building like Diamond House, we don’t have a backyard for the kids to run in, so they mostly stay inside during their breaks. It gets quite busy outside on the main Panjagutta roads, so the sound of horns is just something we have all gotten used to over the years. The teachers here have a small corner where they keep their bags and lunch boxes. We try to keep the place looking decent with a few charts on the walls, but it’s mostly just a functional space for learning. We’ve had a lot of families from the nearby apartments send their kids to us because it’s convenient. We don't have a big marketing budget or a PR team. It’s just me and a few other staff members making sure everything runs okay from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes the water cooler breaks down or a light bulb flickers, and we just fix it and keep going. It is a simple, no-nonsense school for the local kids.
