B D Public School

Our school is located at House No 6-3-1186/A/6, right on the ground floor of the Chinna Bal Reddy Complex. We are situated in the Indian Express Office Lane in Somajiguda. It is a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't from around here, but the locals know the lane well. The 500082 area of Hyderabad is where we spend all our time. B D Public School is just a simple place for kids to come and learn. We have some basic classrooms and a small office space for the staff. The ground floor location is convenient for everyone. Sometimes the lane gets crowded with cars and motorcycles, especially since the newspaper office is nearby. We can hear the motorbikes zipping past while we are teaching. The building is an older style, but it’s sturdy enough. We don't have a lot of extra space, so we use every corner for something useful. The teachers bring their own lunches and sit together during the break. We talk about the weather or the traffic more than anything else. There aren't any big slogans on our walls, just the usual school stuff like charts and student work. We don’t try to make things look better than they are. It’s just a school in a busy lane where we try to teach the children as best as we can every day. It is hard work but it is worth it.
