Our school is located on Road No 3 in Panjagutta, specifically at House No-8-2-248/A/B. It’s right in the thick of things. If you know this part of Hyderabad, you know the roads are narrow and the buildings are packed in pretty tight. We’ve been operating out of this house for a long time. It wasn't originally built to be a school, so some of the rooms are a bit of an odd shape, but we make it work for the classes. We have students from all sorts of backgrounds coming in. The morning assembly happens in the small paved area out front, and then everyone heads inside. We don’t have a big canteen, so most kids bring their own tiffin boxes from home. You can always smell whatever everyone is having for lunch around noon—usually dal and rice. The teachers use old-fashioned chalkboards, and there’s always a bit of dust on the windowsills from the construction happening down the street. We don’t go in for fancy titles or corporate meetings. We just focus on the books and making sure the kids behave themselves. Sometimes the plumbing acts up because it’s an older building, but we just call the local plumber and get it sorted. It’s a very normal, local school where we just try to do right by the families who trust us with their children.
