Avnues School

Avnues School is over at House No 10-254/10 in Ravendra Nagar. This is part of the Sri Gayatri Hills area in Jillelaguda Vill, which is near Saroornagar and Karmanghat. It is a bit of a long address. Basically, we are tucked into the hills there. The 500079 area has a lot of these hilly sections with winding roads. The school is a regular building that has been used for classes for some time now. It feels like a local community spot because of the location in Ravendra Nagar. We have students coming from all around the Jillelaguda Vill area and the nearby hills. The walk up to the school can be a bit of a climb if you are coming from the lower part of the village. We have the rooms set up for the children and a small corner for the office staff to work. It is definitely not a polished corporate school. There is some dust from the unpaved parts of the road and the usual scratches on the desks. Most of the staff live in this neighborhood too. We don't have a big mission statement posted everywhere. We just spend the day on the lessons. We make sure the kids are safe and the rooms are ready for them to learn. It is a quiet part of the city compared to the main junctions in Saroornagar. It’s just a normal school in a growing part of Hyderabad. We have our daily routine and we just stick to it every morning and afternoon.
