We’ve been here at Road No. 10 in Banjara Hills for a while now. The shop is at A-2-603/13/3/n/b, which is a bit of a mouthful when people ask for the address over the phone. Being so close to the Hyderabad School of Business means we see a lot of students walking past every day, mostly looking for something new to wear or just window shopping between their classes. It gets pretty busy around here during the afternoons. The sun hits the front of the building quite hard in the summer, so we usually keep the door half-shut to keep the heat out while we work on the latest designs. There are always piles of fabric lying around on the tables because we never seem to have enough shelf space for everything we want to do. It’s just how it is when you’re trying to run a fashion place like this. My hands are usually covered in thread or chalk marks by the time evening rolls around. Sometimes the neighbors from the other offices pop in for a quick chat while we’re sorting out the stock. It isn't a fancy setup with bright lights and big signs, but it works for us and the people who know where to find us in this part of Banjara Hills. We spend most of our time just making sure the stitching is right and the colors look good together before things go out. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, but we’re used to the rhythm of the street and the sounds of the traffic outside the door.
