Our firm, Aslam Architects & Interior Designers, is based inside Gowlipura at House Number 23-6-510. If you know this part of Hyderabad, you know it has a lot of history and very narrow streets. We’ve been working out of this location for a long time, and we’ve become a part of the neighborhood. We handle both the architectural side and the interior design for people around here and across the city. It’s a private limited company, but at the end of the day, it’s just a group of us who are passionate about building things that last. We don’t go for the super modern, glass-and-steel look unless that’s really what someone needs; we prefer stuff that fits the local climate and culture. We spend a lot of our time sitting with clients, drinking tea, and going over their requirements piece by piece. There’s a lot of listening involved in what we do. The office can get quite loud with everyone talking and the sounds from the street, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It keeps us grounded. We don’t use any polished sales pitches. We just show what we’ve done in the past and tell people what we can do for them. It’s about being honest about the costs and the time it takes to do things right in a busy city like Hyderabad. We aren't looking to grow into some huge corporation; we just like our work.
