You can find our office at B. Swapna, 4-439/8, which is in New Balaji Nagar in the Meerpet area of Hyderabad. We’ve been here for a while now, handling both architecture and interior design. It’s a local operation, and the office is pretty much what you’d expect from a small firm. We have a lot of samples of flooring, paint chips, and fabric lying around, mixed in with our architectural drawings. It isn't the most polished place, but it’s where we do our best thinking. We spend our days going back and forth between designing the structure of a building and figuring out how the inside should look. It’s a lot of work, and sometimes the office gets a bit crowded with all the rolls of paper and material boards. We don’t have any marketing people or a sales team. We just talk to people who come in and show them what we can do on our screens. Meerpet is a busy spot, and we like being part of the community here in New Balaji Nagar. We don’t try to sound corporate because we’re not. We’re just regular people who enjoy the process of design. Some days are spent entirely on site visits, and other days we’re stuck in the office doing the boring technical stuff. We just try to be practical and honest about what can be done with a space. It’s a straightforward way to run things.
