Out in Gandhi Nagar, you’ll find Ask Vending Experts. It’s a pretty simple setup. We deal with vending machines, which means we are constantly surrounded by snacks and drinks. You’d think we’d get tired of it, but sometimes you just need a packet of chips to get through a long afternoon. Our days are mostly spent driving around to check on the machines and making sure they are stocked up for the people who use them. Gandhi Nagar is a busy area, so finding a place to park our van is always a bit of a challenge. We have a small warehouse space where we keep the inventory. It can get a bit disorganized when a new shipment comes in and we have boxes stacked up to the ceiling. We aren't a huge company with a hundred employees. It’s just a few of us making sure people can get their coffee or their snack when they’re at work. Sometimes a coin gets stuck or a machine stops cooling, and we have to go out and fix it right away, no matter the time. It’s a lot of driving and lifting heavy crates of soda. We don’t have a big polished office because we are rarely there anyway. Most of our time is spent on the road or in the back of a breakroom somewhere. It’s honest work and it keeps us moving through the neighborhood every single day.
