Asian Public School

Asian Public School is located at House No 21-17-13/1 in Balaji Nagar. This is right in the middle of Kukatpally, so it is a very urban setting here in Hyderabad. The school is a simple building that blends in with the houses around it. We have several floors where the different classes meet. The stairs are narrow, so we have to be careful when the kids are moving between floors. Each classroom has the basic setup of benches, a desk for the teacher, and a board. We don’t have much in the way of extra space, so we use the rooms for everything from lessons to small meetings. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know the area well. It gets quite hot in the middle of the day, so the fans are always going. We don’t spend money on big signs or fancy decorations. Our time is mostly taken up with grading papers, talking to parents who drop by, and keeping the kids focused on their work. The street outside can get quite jammed with scooters and cars, especially when school lets out. It is a busy, local life here. We just try to make sure every student has a chair and a book and that the lessons get done by the end of the term. It is a plain, hardworking environment where everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing and there is no room for nonsense.
