Ashutosh Memorial Public School

Our school, Ashutosh Memorial Public School, is a bit unusual because we are actually on the 5th floor of Siri Plaza. That’s in Kukatpally, right in the 500072 zip code of Hyderabad. It’s not your typical school building with a big field, but we make it work in this busy city. Being in a plaza means we are right in the thick of things. There are shops and offices around us. The lift can be a bit slow in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to class, so some of us just take the stairs for the exercise. It’s a practical setup for an urban area like this. Inside, we have our classrooms laid out along the hall. It’s surprisingly quiet once you’re inside, despite being in such a busy part of Kukatpally. We don't have any fancy marketing teams. We are just a group of people teaching kids. The space is used well. Every corner has a purpose. We see the same faces every day and it feels like a small family in a big building. Hyderabad is a loud, vibrant place and we are right there in the middle of it. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped, but we are used to it. It’s just how things are at Ashutosh Memorial. We do our best with what we have and keep things moving. It is a bit different being up on the fifth floor, but we like the view.
