Ashish Vidya Niketan Middle School

Our middle school, Ashish Vidya Niketan, is situated at Aleap Junction in the Pragati Nagar Colony area. We are right in Vasavi Layout, which is a fairly easy spot to get to in Hyderabad. We’ve been around this part of town for quite a while. Middle school is an interesting age to work with, and there is never a dull moment in the halls. The building isn't anything spectacular, just a functional space where we get things done. We don't have a marketing department writing fancy text for us; we just tell people how it is. It’s a place where kids can come and learn their subjects without a lot of extra nonsense. We deal with the usual issues, like fixing leaky taps or making sure there are enough chalks and pens for the teachers. Some days are loud, and some are quiet, but we keep a steady rhythm going. Most of our students live in the surrounding layout, so we see their parents at the local market or on the street. It makes the school feel like part of the neighborhood. We don’t make big claims about being the best. We just provide a place for education that is honest and straightforward. If you come by Pragati Nagar, you’ll see us there, just doing our daily work. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’ve been at it for years and we know what the community expects from us. We just keep the doors open for the local families.
