Ash Secondary School & Shivabhai Umedbhai Patel Uchchatar Madhyamik Shala is a long name for a school, but everyone around Plot No 48 in Hills Colony just knows where it is. Located in Vanasthalipuram, this school serves both secondary and higher secondary students. It is a large, busy building because we have so many different grades under one roof. The atmosphere is quite serious, especially near the exam halls. Students can be seen sitting on the steps or in the corners of the corridors going over their notes before a test. We have a mix of younger kids and older teenagers, so the energy levels change depending on which part of the building you are in. The staff room is a hub of activity with teachers constantly discussing lesson plans or student behavior. We have some older lab equipment and a library that is stuffed with books, some of which are quite old now.
