Arunodaya Montessori School

Our school is located on Plot No. 190 in Srinivasa Nagar, which is over in the Ecil area of Hyderabad. Being a Montessori school, our days look a bit different than the bigger schools nearby. We have smaller kids mostly, so the morning is full of parents dropping them off and the occasional crying at the gate. It’s a residential area, so we try to keep the noise down, but kids will be kids. The building is a regular house that’s been converted into a school space. It feels a bit more like a home than a big institution. We have the 500062 pincode, just like many others in this part of town. Inside, there are lots of low tables and shelves with all the learning materials we use. It can get a bit cluttered with toys and blocks, but we try to keep it somewhat tidy. The back area is where they play during the break. We don't have a lot of space, but it's enough for them to run around a bit. The staff here is mostly local women who live just a few streets away. We spend our time watching the little ones and making sure they don't get into too much trouble. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day. There’s always something to clean up or someone who needs help with their shoes. We don't use much technology here, just hands-on stuff for the little kids.
