Arunam Fashions is situated right in the heart of Kukatpally. This part of the city is always moving, and we feel that energy every day we open up. We don’t have a long, complicated address, just our spot here in Kukatpally where we’ve been for a while. The morning usually starts with us checking the inventory and seeing what needs to be restocked. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and moving hangers around the shop. Kukatpally has so many markets and shops, so we just try to do our own thing and keep our customers happy when they stop by. We have a big mirror in the back that everyone uses, and it’s probably the most popular spot in the store. The floor is made of simple tile, and we spend a lot of time keeping it clean because of all the foot traffic. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local business trying to make a living in a busy area like this. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the backup lights, which makes the whole place feel a bit different for a while. We talk to the vendors who come by with new materials and sometimes we sit outside on the step when it's quiet. It's a straightforward life here, focused on the clothes we sell and the people of Kukatpally who come in to see us. We just take it one day at a time and keep things simple for everyone involved.
