Ariyava Montessori Matric School

Ariyava Montessori Matric School is located at 17-1-391/14 in Saraswathi Nagar. This part of Santosh Nagar is quite crowded most of the time. Our building is tucked into one of the side lanes. You might miss it if you aren't looking for the specific plot number. It’s a tall, narrow structure like many others in this area of Hyderabad. We have stairs that go up to the different classrooms on each floor. It can be a bit of a climb if you are carrying heavy books. We don't have an elevator. The rooms are filled with the usual school stuff like blackboards and wooden benches. We’ve been using the same furniture for a few years now. It shows some wear but it’s sturdy. The Montessori way of doing things means we have specific materials laid out on the shelves for the kids. Sometimes the students mix them all up and the teachers have to spend the afternoon sorting them back out. We don't have a proper field for sports or running. The students just play in the small paved area out front or in the hallways when it rains. The rainy season is always a bit messy because the lane outside gets muddy. We have to make everyone wipe their shoes properly before coming inside. It is a simple school for local families who want something nearby. No bells and whistles, just daily lessons and the regular routine we follow every year. It works for the families in Saraswathi Nagar.
