Archana Sultania

I’ve been based out of room 404 in the Sri Sai Home Apartments for quite a few years now. If you know Hyderabad, you know Lakdi Ka Pul is always moving, never really stops even late at night. The apartment building itself is tucked away just enough that you can breathe, but the main road is right there. Most days I’m just here doing my thing. People sometimes find the entrance a bit tricky because the sign isn’t very big, but once you’ve been here once, it’s easy enough to remember. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that, just a regular space where work gets done. My name is Archana Sultania and this has been my spot for a long time. The tea stall downstairs is where I usually take my breaks. Sometimes the elevator acts up, so walking up to the fourth floor is a bit of a workout, but you get used to it. The neighbors are mostly families, so it stays pretty quiet during the day which helps with focusing. I don’t really go for big advertisements or anything. Most people who come here heard about it from someone else in the city. It’s just how things work in this part of town. Hyderabad 500004 is a busy area but this corner feels okay. I’ve lived and worked in different places but this one feels right for now. No big fuss, just a desk and some papers usually, and that's all I need to keep moving forward.
