Here at Arc International, we deal with ceramic materials. We are tucked away in the Ceramic Materials Division near Balapur Post. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but it’s where we do our work every day. The air always has that specific smell of raw materials and earth. It’s a quiet area mostly, away from the main city rush, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on shipments. We spend a lot of time moving bags around and keeping track of what’s coming in. The post office nearby is a landmark for anyone trying to find us. It’s not a glamorous place, just a lot of shelves, some heavy equipment, and a floor that’s never quite clean no matter how much we sweep. We’ve been at this address for a while and the staff here knows the routine inside out. Sometimes the power goes out or the weather makes things difficult, but we just wait it out and get back to it. Dealing with ceramics means you’re always handling something fragile or heavy. We’ve got a small team and we mostly keep to ourselves. It’s practical work. We don’t go for anything fancy. If you walk into our division, you’ll see people busy with their hands and a lot of lists pinned to the walls. It’s just a regular workplace doing regular things in Balapur. We keep a kettle in the corner for coffee because the mornings get cold out here.
