Anusaya Sawant Primary School

Anusaya Sawant Primary School is located at 220/G in Janapriya Nagar, which is a busy little pocket of Miyapur. We are a primary school, so our days are filled with the sounds of younger kids learning their letters and numbers. The building is tucked away in a spot that makes it convenient for the local residents to reach. It isn't a massive campus with stadiums or anything like that; it’s just a few floors of classrooms where the kids spend their day. We have been here for several years now, and the place has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. The stairs are worn from years of kids running up and down, and the paint is a little faded in some spots, but it feels like home to us. Our mornings start early with the sounds of morning assembly, and then it’s straight into the lessons. The teachers here are local people who understand the neighborhood. We don’t have much in the way of high-tech gadgets; we mostly stick to books and handwriting. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, except when school lets out and everyone heads home at once. We just try to keep things running smoothly and make sure the children are safe. It’s a simple, honest school for the families around Janapriya Nagar. There isn't much more to it than that, just daily work and learning. We enjoy seeing the kids grow up year after year as they move through the grades.
