Anand Niketan School

Anand Niketan School is tucked away on Road No 2 in Ramakrishnapram. If you live around this part of Hyderabad, you probably know the street well. It’s a normal, everyday school where kids come to sit in their classes and get through their lessons. We have been in this location for a good bit of time. The building isn't brand new or flashy, but it works for what we need to do every day. You’ll hear the kids shouting and playing during the break times and the teachers talking in the rooms nearby. We don't do anything too fancy or modern. It’s just about getting the students through their textbooks and making sure they understand their math and science. Parents from the neighborhood drop their kids off in the morning and wait by the gate in the afternoon. Sometimes the road gets a bit crowded with all the rickshaws and bicycles during drop-off, but that's just part of the daily routine. We have a small staff and we all know each other’s names. It’s a local community vibe. We don't have a big fancy office or any corporate managers. Most of the time, the teachers are just busy with grading papers or planning what to do the next day. It’s a very simple setup. We try to keep the classrooms tidy, but with so many kids running around, there’s always a bit of dust or something to fix. We just keep going day by day.
