Amrita Vidyalayam School

You can find Amrita Vidyalayam School over at Plot No-84 in Banjara Hills. Being in Hyderabad, things are always moving fast around here. Our school is just one part of this busy area. We have been here for a good bit of time now. The building is fairly straightforward. We have enough rooms for the kids and a bit of space for the staff to sit down. It isn't a quiet place during the day, that’s for sure. Children are always talking or playing. We have a lot of stairs and the kids seem to enjoy running up them, even when we tell them to slow down. The classrooms are filled with old desks that have seen many years. We keep the place clean as much as we can. It gets very bright in the afternoons. Most of the families living nearby send their children here. We know most of the parents by name because they stop by to chat at the gate. It’s a local school through and through. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. Just some teachers and students trying to get the work done. The mail comes to 500034 every morning. We just keep our heads down and do the teaching. Sometimes we have small events, and the whole place gets a bit more lively. It’s just a regular part of life here in Banjara Hills.
