Amrikhowa High School

Our school is located at Plot No 14 on Road No 10 in Banjara Hills. It’s a decent-sized plot in a part of Hyderabad that is always changing. We’ve seen new buildings go up and old ones come down around us. Being a high school means things are always a bit hectic. There are always teenagers running around or standing in groups near the gate. We have a simple setup. The building on Plot 14 isn't new, but it holds up well enough. We spend our days going from one classroom to another. The hallways can get pretty crowded during the breaks. We don't have much of a garden, just a bit of paved space where people congregate. The noise from Road No 10 is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. You stop hearing the horns after a while. Inside, we just try to keep things organized. There is always a pile of books somewhere or a desk that needs fixing. We have a small staff room where we sit and have tea when there’s a quiet moment. It’s a very plain, everyday kind of place. We don't put on any airs. We are just here to provide a place for students to come and spend their day. It’s a regular routine of bells ringing and doors opening and closing until it's time for everyone to head home for the night. That's the life at Amrikhowa High School.
