Ambuj Convent School

Ambuj Convent School is over at Diamond Towers, which is part of the Le-10 Aliens Valley area in Gachibowli. People often get a bit confused by the name Aliens Valley, but it is just a normal neighborhood with lots of people living in these tall towers. The school is located inside the complex, so it is quite safe from the main road traffic, but it can be a bit of a walk to find the right entrance if you haven’t been here before. We have a few floors where the classrooms are set up. They are simple rooms with basic wooden benches and green boards. The light isn’t always great in the corners, so we keep the overhead lamps on most of the day. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but the fans do their job well enough. We see a lot of the same faces every day because most of our students live right here in the towers. The parents usually just walk their kids down and then head off to work in the nearby offices. It’s a very local feel, almost like a small village inside a big city. We don’t have a huge playground, so the kids mostly use the common areas of the building to stretch their legs during the breaks. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, but we make it work with what we have in this part of Gachibowli.
