Ambika Public High School

Ambika Public High School is located right by the Reliance Fresh in Indiranagar, which is quite a busy part of Gachibowli. If you are looking for us, you just look for the big supermarket sign and we are right there. The morning rush is something else because of the grocery shoppers and the school buses all trying to use the same narrow street at once. Our building is pretty straightforward, nothing too flashy, just concrete and paint that we try to touch up every few years when it starts looking a bit dull. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of chalk on boards and the occasional laughter from the hallways. The teachers here have been around for a long time and they know most of the families in the area by name. We don't really use much high-tech stuff, just the basic books and desks that have survived many groups of students over the years. Indiranagar has changed a lot since we started, with more apartments coming up everywhere, but the school stays pretty much the same. We have a small area out front where the kids wait for their parents, and it gets quite crowded around four in the afternoon. Sometimes the local cows wander near the gate, and we have to shoo them away so the kids can get through. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us here in Hyderabad.
