Amarlaxmi Public High School

Our school is located on the fifth floor of the Vasavi Sreemukhi Complex in Himayath Nagar. Being up high means we get a good view of the Hyderabad skyline, though the students are usually too busy with their books to notice. It is a bit of a trek up to the fifth floor, but there are lifts in the building to help out. We have several classrooms spread out across the floor. This place is usually buzzing from early morning until late afternoon. Since we are a high school, the atmosphere is a bit more serious than a primary school. The students are older and they spend a lot of time preparing for their exams. We do not have a massive campus with sports fields, but we make the most of the indoor space we have. The hallways can get a bit tight when everyone is moving between classes, but we manage just fine. Most people find us because the complex is a well-known landmark on the main road. The office is right by the entrance where we handle all the paperwork and parent queries. It is a practical environment for learning. We do not go in for fancy carpets or expensive art. It is just desks, boards, and books. We focus on the teaching and making sure the students stay on track with their studies. It is a busy, functional space that serves the local community well. We try to keep the fans running to stay cool.
