If you’re looking for Amar Shahid S S H S School, you have to come up to the 5th floor of the Sanathana Enternal building. It’s right on the Himayatnagar Main Road, so you can’t miss the building, but you do have to take the lift to get to us in suite 502. Being up on the 5th floor is actually kind of nice because we’re away from the dust of the street, although the noise still drifts up. We have a few classrooms up here and an office where the staff sits. It’s a bit of a hike if the power goes out and the lift stops, but that doesn’t happen too often. We have a lot of students coming in and out throughout the day. The hallway can get pretty crowded during the breaks. We try to keep things moving so no one gets blocked. Most of us have worked here for quite a while now. We know the building staff and the other people working in the offices nearby. It’s a community of sorts. We spend our time preparing for the next day's lessons and making sure the students are staying on track with their work. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up. We don't have a lot of extra space, so every corner is used for something, whether it’s storing old exams or keeping a few extra chairs. It’s just our daily life here in the middle of Himayat Nagar.
