To be honest, the school is basically a large house that we converted into a place for kids to learn. It makes it feel a bit more like home for the little ones who are just starting out. We have been here in this part of Hyderabad for several years. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it stays fairly safe for the children. During the day, you can hear the kids shouting and playing during their breaks. It gets quite loud, but the neighbors don't seem to mind too much. We have a few rooms set aside for the nursery and the junior high classes. The space is a bit tight, especially when the parents come to pick everyone up in the afternoon. We don't have a huge playground or a cafeteria. Most kids bring their own tiffins and eat together in the classrooms. It’s a very local operation. We know all the families around here by name. Sometimes we have to fix a leaky tap or repaint a wall ourselves because we don't have a big maintenance crew. It’s just us running the place as best as we can. We like being part of the colony and seeing the children grow up over the years.
