Al-Huda Public School

Moosapet is a busy place, and Anjaneya Nagar is no exception to that. You can find us at Plot No 387. The school building sits right there, surrounded by houses and other small shops. In the morning, you can see parents on scooters dropping off their kids before they head to work. It’s a lot of noise and a lot of energy early on. Once the classes start, things quiet down a little, but you still hear the city hum in the background. We have some old desks that have seen better days, but they do the job. The windows stay open most of the time to let the air in. During the monsoon, we have to be careful about the puddles near the entrance. It's not a huge campus with a big playground, so the kids make do with the space we have. We try to keep the hallways clear, though that’s easier said than done with so many youngsters around. Lunchtime is when it gets really lively again. You can smell whatever everyone brought from home. It's just a regular local school. We don't have fancy uniforms or big buses, just a simple place for the kids in this part of Hyderabad. The staff room is usually cluttered with notebooks and half-drunk cups of chai. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how a busy school feels. We’ve been at this address for a good while.
