You’ll find Maruthi Paper Products on the second floor of Plot No 94/A in the Aleap Industrial Estate at Gajularamaram. Being on the second floor has its challenges, especially when we have to move heavy rolls of paper up there. We use the lift mostly, but sometimes it’s fussy, and we have to wait. The workspace is filled with the sound of cutting machines and the rustle of paper being moved around. It’s not a quiet place, but we like the energy. The windows look out over the rest of the industrial estate, which gives us a bit of a view of what everyone else is up to. We have a small corner for the office work, but mostly it’s just tables and machines. Sometimes the scrap paper piles up faster than we can clear it, so we have to have a big cleaning session at the end of every week. The crew here is small, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We don’t bother with corporate talk or fancy titles. We just show up, do the work, and make sure the orders are ready for pickup. Gajularamaram is a busy spot these days, so there’s always something going on nearby. It’s a good location for us, even if the stairs are a bit much on a long day. We just keep at it. It’s just how things go when you’re running a small operation like this one.
