Al-Ameen Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Khan High School is situated on Mayur Marg in Begumpet, Hyderabad. The house number is 1-10-125/4/1/E, which is right in the middle of a busy neighborhood. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the school is named after Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Khan. It’s a high school where local kids come for their daily lessons. The building isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. There are classrooms on different floors and a small office near the entrance. You can hear the sounds of the city outside, but inside we try to keep things focused on the books. The teachers are regular folks who live nearby and they’ve been with us for years. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just the standard stuff you need for a school. The hallways are narrow and the kids are always running around during their breaks. It's a very community-oriented place. Parents often stop by to talk about their children or to settle fees. We just keep things running as smoothly as we can. It’s a lot of work managing so many students in this space, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the most modern school in Hyderabad; we just want to be a good, reliable place for the kids in Begumpet to get their education. Sometimes we have to shout a bit to be heard over the traffic on Mayur Marg, and the stairs are a bit steep for the older staff, but we are used to it.
