Al-Amaan Urdu Girls High School

This is Al-Amaan Urdu Girls High School, over in the Patigadda section of Begumpet. We are at 1-8-449/5/D/1, which is a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't from around here. It’s a school dedicated to girls’ education, and we’ve been part of this Hyderabad community for a long time. The building is a simple structure where we have our classrooms. It’s mostly Urdu medium, so the teaching follows that. The girls come in every morning, and the place gets quite lively with all their chatting. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just the basic desks, boards, and books. The teachers are mostly women from the surrounding areas who understand the families here. It’s a safe, quiet place for the students to focus. We deal with the usual school stuff like attendance, exams, and keeping the building in one piece. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets noisy, but the classes keep going. We try to make sure the girls have what they need to finish their high school years. It’s not a fancy private school with a swimming pool or anything like that. It’s just a solid, local school for the girls in Patigadda. We’ve seen many groups of students graduate and move on from here. It’s just a normal, everyday school where we do our best with what we have. Our office is usually piled high with old registers and notebooks, but we know where everything is. It's a busy, humble place that serves the neighborhood.
