Akshara International School

If you head down Market Yard Road in Hasmathpet, you will see Akshara International School tucked into the Royal Enclave area. We are located at Survey No 72. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but many of the families live right around here. The school building is a decent size, and there’s usually a lot of activity near the gate when the buses pull in. We have a few trees in the yard that give some shade during the hot afternoons. Inside, the walls are covered with drawings and charts that the students made. Some of the tape is peeling off, but it shows they’ve been busy. The classrooms stay quite cool because of how the building was put together. We spend our mornings checking the attendance and making sure everyone has their books ready. It can get a little loud when it's lunchtime because the kids like to run around the open spaces. Most of our staff have been here for years and know the neighborhood well. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard to hear, but once you’re inside the enclave, it gets a lot quieter. We don't use much fancy equipment, just the usual stuff you’d expect in a school like ours. It is just a place for the neighborhood kids to get through their classes and grow up a bit. We try to keep things organized, even when the office gets messy with paperwork and old files.
