Akshar Public School

Akshar Public School is right here in Palakguntta, specifically in that 203 Akashya Residency building. If you know Old Alwal, you know this part of Hyderabad gets pretty busy in the mornings. We've been operating out of this spot for a while now. It’s not a massive campus or anything fancy, just a regular place where kids from the neighborhood come to learn their lessons. Most days start with the sound of rickshaws dropping children off right at the entrance. The hallways stay pretty noisy until the first bell rings. We have different classrooms set up inside the residency building, which makes it feel a bit more like a home than those big corporate schools you see in the city center. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows to let the breeze in from the street. It’s just us doing what we do every day. The teachers arrive early, usually carrying their bags and a bit of lunch. We don’t have a big playground, but we make use of the space we have. People around here know where we are because they pass by us on their way to work or the market. It’s a simple setup. We try to keep things organized but with so many kids running around, there’s always a bit of chaos. That’s just how a school in Alwal is, I suppose. Nothing too complicated, just a local spot for local families to send their kids.
