Akarshith Consulting Engineers

Our office is located at 24 Jabba Estate, up on the second floor. Being in Begumpet means it is always a bit of a rush outside, especially with Shoppers Stop being so close by. Akarshith Consulting Engineers is basically just a group of us sitting around desks covered in drawings and notes. The building is older, and sometimes the lift is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs more often than not. We spend a lot of our time looking at site plans or talking to people about their building ideas. It is not always exciting work, and there is a lot of checking and re-checking involved to make sure things are right. The noise from the main road filters in through the windows, but you get used to the city sounds after a few weeks. We have some tea in the afternoon to stay awake through the more boring technical parts of the job. Most of our day is just handling phone calls or fixing mistakes on a blueprint. It is a local engineering spot, nothing too big or corporate. We just show up, do the calculations, and try to keep things moving forward for the projects we have on hand. It gets a bit cramped when we have too many files lying around, but we manage to find what we need eventually.
