Ahad High School

Ahad High School is at 3-5-610/3/A on Tappachabutra Road. It’s right in the Yousufguda area. The road outside can be quite narrow and busy with people and scooters. It’s a city school, so it’s built right into the street landscape. You walk through the entrance and it’s a bit of a different world from the noisy road outside. The building is tall and has many rooms for all the different grades. Since it’s a high school, the kids are older and they fill up the hallways between periods. We have some windows that look out over the city rooftops. It can get pretty warm in the afternoons, but the fans keep things moving. The address is easy to find if you know Tappachabutra Road. It’s a local place where families from Yousufguda have been sending their kids for a long time. There isn't a massive field for sports, but the students find ways to stay active. It’s a practical building. We have the usual desks and chairs and blackboards. The walls are a bit plain, but that’s okay. It’s about the classes and the people here. Every day is the same routine of bells and lessons. It feels like a real part of the community here in this part of the city. There’s always someone at the gate checking people coming in. It's just a busy life in a busy school building.
