Agnihotri G.K.Vyas High School

You can find us at 6-2-12 in Suncity, which is right in the Suncity-Langar House area of Hyderabad. It is a growing part of the city, and we have been part of this community for some time now. Agnihotri G.K.Vyas High School is a fairly simple place. We have the usual classrooms, a small office, and a place for the kids to gather in the mornings. It is not one of those massive campuses you see in the advertisements. It is more of a neighborhood school where everyone knows everyone else. The sounds of the street are always present, but we don't mind it much. During the monsoon, we have to be careful about the puddles near the entrance, but otherwise, it is a sturdy enough building. We have students from all sorts of backgrounds who come here to get their high school education. There is no corporate polish here; the walls have been painted a few times, and the desks show some age. We just focus on the day-to-day work of teaching. Sometimes we have small events in the common area, and it gets very crowded and noisy. The staff here are mostly local folks who have been with us for years. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the kids in our area have a place to go every morning. It is a straightforward, honest school in a busy part of Hyderabad.
