We are actually located inside the Badam Appartment building in Tarnaka, Hyderabad. The address is in the 500007 zip code. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a school since it’s an apartment complex, but we’ve made it work for a long time. This is Agarara Junior High Uprimary School. We have several units that we use for our classrooms. It’s a bit cozy, and it feels more like a home than a traditional school building. Because we are in an apartment, we have to be mindful of the other residents. We try to keep the students from making too much noise in the common areas. Tarnaka is a very busy part of the city, but being inside the complex gives us a bit of a buffer from the main road traffic. We don't have a big playground, so we have to get creative with how the kids spend their break time. Most of our students come from the surrounding blocks. We don't have a big office or a fancy reception desk. It’s just a small desk near the entrance where we keep the registers. The teachers are all local people who have been with us for years. We just focus on the basics of the junior high and primary curriculum. It’s a simple operation, and we don't do any big advertising. Word just gets around the neighborhood that we are here. It’s a quiet life inside the Badam Appartment building.
