Adithya Public School

Our school is situated on the 5th floor of Ashoka My Home Chambers, which is a big commercial building on Sardar Patel Road. It’s a very busy part of Secunderabad, and the traffic outside never really stops. We occupy plots 301 to 304. Being on the fifth floor means we are a bit away from the street noise, but you can still hear the horns honking below. The elevators can be slow in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work or class, so a lot of us end up taking the stairs. Inside, we’ve converted the office spaces into classrooms and administrative areas. It’s a different feel than a traditional school building, but we’ve made it work for our students. The windows look out over the rooftops of Hyderabad, which is a nice view if you have a moment to stop and look. We have a lot of students coming and going, so the floors get dirty pretty fast, but we have people who help us keep things tidy. We don't have a big open field for sports, so we have to get creative with how we handle physical activities. The staff works out of a central area where we keep all the files and supplies. It’s a practical setup for being right in the middle of a commercial hub. We just focus on the teaching and let the city bustle on outside.
